Pitches for the job of improving the SQL tutor

Last week we had to pitch to Chris what we would do to improve his SQL tutor and how much we would charge to do it. Well to be honest, I had no clue. I have never pitched a web job to anybody, and would have no idea on the timescale and price that it would cost to carry out the task. I guess this is where experience comes into play. I've only been studying web design for two and a half years and don't really have much life experience being only 20 years old. Other class members are older and have more experience in the web world, and this showed clearly with a much better and well thought out pitch for what they would do to carry out the task and how much they would charge. So hopefully I will improve with experience and gain a much better insight into pitching for web jobs, as I may have to do this in the future.
